We are a vibrant and ambitious young production company, passionate about specifically queer and female-fronted storytelling. Our aim is to uplift and project the voices of marginalised communities through the medium of film. We operate in both the North (Edinburgh) and South West (Bristol) of the UK.
Between the two of us, we have ten years of experience in the film industry, having worked in various capacities on a multitude of high-profile projects including a Netflix documentary feature film, a series of short films for the United Nations, a short documentary for BBC III, as well as our most recent film No Man, which was an official selection for multiple film festivals - including the prestigious Sheffield Doc/Fest.
We take a raw, real and authentic approach to our filmmaking - capturing intimate stories and conveying them in captivating, personal and deeply honest ways.
Where We've Been Featured...
Ciara is originally from South Africa, where she lived before moving to the UK to study Film & Television at the University of Bristol.
Since graduating, she's worked at a Bristol-based production company, as well as on a number of feature films and multiple freelance commercial and personal projects - including two shorts for BBC III.
Ciara's main passion is documentary directing. She loves capturing weird and wonderful visuals with a heavy emphasis on nature and bold, bright colours.
Emry is a Queer & Non-binary Filmmaker originally from Scotland who moved to Bristol to study Filmmaking and TV at the University of Western England (UWE). They specialised in Producing and Writing.
After that, they worked in several different areas from corporate & commercial to hires & documentary, honing various skills along the way.
Now they work alongside Ciara to produce impactful stories from voices not often heard.
In their spare time, Emry is often found playing for a Queer and inclusive Rugby team!
